The Newcastle and North Tyneside Local Improvement Finance Trust, known as NNTLIFTCo was established in 2004 to develop and maintain primary care and community based premises for the NHS and its Primary Care Trusts. It is a joint venture split across three sectors: -

Robertson Capital Projects – a Scottish-based private sector development company within the Robertson Group – which owns 60% of our shares;

Community Health Partnership – owned by the Department of Health – which owns 32% of our shares;

There are also two local public sector partners – Newcastle City Council and North Tyneside Council – which, between them, own the remaining 8% of our shares.

Each of these sectors has at least one representative on our Board of Directors. These Directors have ultimate responsibility for the direction and control of the Company. Day-to-day operations are managed by the Operations Director and his Team.
