The Customer Service Centre for the Byker area will be open to the public from 3rd November 2008.  This will house services for Newcastle City Council and is situated on Shields Road in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The range of services provided at the centre includes:

• Public library
• External agencies
• IT area
• Meeting rooms
