The Joint Service Centre for the Benwell area will be open to the public from 17th November 2008.  This will house services for Newcastle City Council and is situated on the site of the former Majestic Cinema on Condercum Road. 

The range of services provided at the centre includes:

• Public library
• External agencies
• IT area
• Meeting rooms
